Passivations and Chromates

Blue passivations

BLUPASS B

  • Trivalent blue passivation without cobalt
  • It is possible to obtain corrosion resistance up to 48h, to white corrosion on pendants
  • The passivation layer can be glossy and light blue

BLUPASS BC

  • Trivalent blue passivation with cobalt
  • It is possible to obtain corrosion resistance up to 72h, to white corrosion on pendants
  • The passivation gives a light blue color with a red tone

BLUPASS FB

  • Trivalent blue passivation without cobalt with an blue pigment
  • It is possible to obtain corrosion resistance up to 48h, to white corrosion on pendants
  • The passivation gives a highly intesive blue color

BLUPASS HT

  • Trivalent blu passivation with cobalt
  • Characterized by a good resistance to heating in high temperatures
  • It is possible to obtain corrosion resistance for more than 72h, to white corrosion on pendants

TRIBLU FTA

  • Trivalent blue passivation with a low work concentration
  • It is possible to obtain corrosion resistance up to 172h, to white corrosion on pendants
  • The obtained layer is very blue with a slight red shade

Thick-layered passivations

TRISTAR FH

  • Thick-layered passivation colored silver with a light blue tone
  • It contains cobalt and no fluorides
  • Passivated surfaces can be treated with high temperature with no loss of physical and chemical properties

TRISTAR FHT

  • Thick-layered passivation with a light yellow to red tone
  • It contains cobalt and no fluorides
  • Passivated surfaces can be treated with high temperature with no negative affect on the color and corrosion resistance

TRISTAR FA

  • The most advanced thick-layered passivation with a highly intensive blue color
  • It contains cobalt and different compounds that are increasing corrosion resistance
  • Passivated surfaces can be treated with high temperature with no negative affect on physical and chemical properties

TRISTAR FREECO

  • Thick-layered passivation without cobalt with high corrosion resistance
  • The color of the passivation can be from yellow-red to green-blue
  • The solution of the passivation is resistant to pollution

Yellow passivations

YELLPASS

  • Yellow chrome coating based on chrome VI
  • Characterized by a good adhesion of the chrome layer what provides a good corrosion protection
  • The color of the layer is from yellow to gold-green

YELLPASS M

  • Yellow chrome coating based on chrome VI
  • The process is working right even at low concentration
  • The color of the layer is from yellow to green

YELLPASS EKO

  • Non-toxic zinc passivation with a high corrosion resistance
  • Based on chrome (III) compounds
  • The lack of chrome (IV) is very important for the sewage and environmental protection

Black passivations

MA PASS 030

  • Black trivalent passivation for kinds of zinc elektrolytes
  • The layers are characterized by black color and gloss
  • The passivation offers a corrosion protection at 24h on pendants and it has to be sealed/coated

Passivations for silver

ESPASS

  • Chemical passivation process for parts made of silver and coated with silver
  • The passivation layer does not reduce the conductivity or solderability of silver
  • The layer is transparent and does not change the color of silver

Passivation tools

TRISTAR NANO

  • Nanostructured strengthening for passivation
  • It raises corrosion resistance
  • It extremely raises the attrition of the layers

FENDEX

  • This additive highly affects the lifetime of the passivation
  • It restrains the dissolution of metals in the passivation
  • It minimizes the negative affect of introduced pollutions
